Dave's book review for Aliens Among Us: Extraordinary Portraits of ... Bugs

This is a cute little art book with scanning electron microscope images composited with color macro photography to make "portraits" of bug faces along with drawings and a little write-up about each critter.

It’s a super short read, even if you take a fair amount of time staring at the images. I wouldn’t have minded quite a bit more info about each specimen and maybe some "making of" or behind the scenes details. I imagine they would have been fascinating.
