Dave's book review for Math for English Majors

Surprisingly insightful. Laugh out loud funny, especially in the first half.

I’m not math-phobic and I wasn’t an English major, but I was a poor math student because I did not enjoy it as a school subject. What I did pick up has not aged well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and felt inspired to dive deeper into several facets of math because of it. (Update: In fact, I’ve been giving myself a proper algebra review. So we’ll see how that goes.)

I think I would have benefitted enormously from reading this when I was younger. But as I’m fond of saying, It is seldom too late to start.
